David K. Traul, MD, FACS

Dr. Traul attended the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI where he received his medical degree and completed his surgical residency. He completed a vascular fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, OH. He is a member in the American College of Surgeons and the Oregon Medical Association. Dr. Traul became interested in Bariatrics because he has found weight loss surgery to be a tremendous benefit in people’s lives.

A native of Wisconsin, Dr. Traul is an outdoor enthusiast. He loves traveling with his wife and participating in a number of outdoor activities including mountain biking, skiing and tennis. He has played the piano for years and says playing keyboards in an all-physician rock and roll band is a fun extension of his musical experience.
